Ricky Irvine, graphic designer
For several years I have invested myself personally, academically, and professionally in graphic design. In 2004, after completing formal studies, I designed for Louisville Metro Parks. In 2005 I got my hands dirty in the print shop at Warner’s Printing Service, and in 2006 I’d found work alongside Bowin Tichenor at his Blue Bus Cafe designing for all sorts of people in print and web media. In 2007 I attended An Event Apart, and also began freelancing full-time. Freelancing continued through early 2010, perched in a second-floor office along Frankfort Avenue, and concluded with a new full-time internet endeavor with the American Printing House for the Blind.
